Several years ago, while working as a relief ICT coach in an inner city school, I worked with a Year 3 teacher to create digital information reports on jungle creatures. Last year, I had the opportunity to run a similar activity in Year 3 Science, teaching students how to write a script, source Public Domain images, and produce a digital information report using PuppetPals HD Directors’ Pass. When they were finished, students exported their reports as videos to their Camera Roll, and uploaded them to Dropbox for sharing.
I’d highly recommend purchasing the full version of PuppetPals HD (the Director’s Pass), both for the extra character sets, and the ability to import your own characters. I’m not too fussed with PuppetPals 2, which I see as very overpriced for what you get.
